To allow longer cable runs via lower attenuation coax lines rather than twisted pair (STP) cables a converter is necessary. The NADIT Series of adapters is the answer to this problem. They passively transform the characteristic impedance of a balanced 110 Ohm twisted pair cable to a 75 Ohm unbalanced coaxial line and vice versa. |
